New species and record of Pselaphinae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) from Saudi Arabia.

چکیده

Centrophthalnus subtilissinus sp. nov. is described and the new record of Ctenistes staudingeri Schaufuss from Saudi Arabia is given. Both species were collected in the under rock ant nest of Pheidole cf. pallidula.

Two new species, Pselaphodes linae Yin & Li, sp. n. (Hainan, Fujian) and Pselaphodes shii Yin & Li, sp. n. (Hainan) are described from South China. Taiwanophodes minor Hlaváč is reported from outside Taiwan for the first time. Illustrations of major diagnostic features are provided for all treated taxa. The latest key to Chinese Pselaphodes is modified to include the new species.

The genus Acetalius Sharp currently contains two species from Japan. In this paper, a third species, Acetalius grandis Yin & Li, sp. n., is described from eastern China.
